Emmanuel Mukendi
CEO/CFO
Emmanuel Mukendi, PhD, Chief Executive Officer (CEO): Mr. Mukendi has over 15 years of management experience with companies like Kingsmine and Petroleum Ltd and GCEM Sprl (DRC) and Best trading Company (Russia), and CIBC Bank (Canada). He is a trained geologist/mineralogist with local experience in the main Kasai, Bas-Congo and Kambove Katanga regions of the DRC. He has also worked as a consultant to the DRC Government Commission of Revision of Mining Contracts in 2007-2008. Included among his many experiences are working as a geologist and project lead with NPM Namibia on exploration and feasibility studies estimating river bed sediments deposits of 14.6 million of carats of gem quality diamonds; this project was later purchased by Southerna, a DeBeers company.
Marcel Kalonji
Operations Manager
Marcel Kalonji, (BSc. Econs/Admin) Operations Manager: Marcel has over 29 years of operations management and has managed companies like BELTEXCO in Kasai, ICS – Investing and Consulting services (specializing in the promotion of investments in the DRC) and GCEM Sprl, a partner of MIBA with mining projects. He has also worked as General Manager of MIKAS SARL since 2006. Marcel has attended several international conferences and development training on mining operations management and finance in Milan (Italy) since 2006.
Piotr Baranov
Consultant
Piotr Baranov, (CONSULTANT TO TEAM): Professor of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences, Dnepropetrovsk Mining Institute, Ukraine. Prof. Baranov, is a mining engineer and geologist with extensive experience in geological surveys, and prospecting and exploration of mineral deposits in several countries, including Angola. He has supervised students who have lead teams who identified Loreley kimberlite deposits in Angola. He is well published and has over 150 scientific works to his name.
